New! Introducing the new Mentor/Advisor/Coach pathway from the AAPAE council! Designed for anesthesiology program administrators, managers, and non-physician educators at every career stage, this program connects members with the support they need. Whether members are seeking short-term, situational guidance or a long-term mentorship, we can match you with the right mentor, advisor, or coach to help in all areas.

Mentors: Will share wisdom and experience to support professional growth. Mentors build a long-term relationship and offer guidance, encouragement, and career advice based on their own experiences.

Advisors: Offer expert advice based on their knowledge and experience. Advisors typically provide recommendations, insights, and direction in a formal or professional capacity.

Coaches: Focus on skill development and performance improvement through structured techniques. Coaches help individuals reach specific goals by providing feedback, motivation, and accountability.

Mentor/Advisor/Coach Program Goals:

• To provide a national forum for the support of Program Administrators and Educators of AAPAE member programs.
• To create opportunities for professional growth by enabling both experienced and new Program Administrators and Educators to share their knowledge, collaborate, and develop resources that advance the specialty as a whole.
• To foster professional connections and collaboration among administrators and educators regionally and nationwide.
• To build a community of practice among Anesthesiology Program Administrators and Educators.
