Mentoring Program Goals & Mentor Requirements

The AACPD is committed to fostering a community of collaboration, mentorship, and support for its members. The AACPD council has developed a mentorship program to assist newly appointed anesthesiology program directors and associate program directors.

Program Goals

• To support Program Directors and Associate Program Directors as they transition into their new role.
• To foster professional connections and collaboration among Program Directors and Associate Program Directors across the nation.

Mentor Requirements

To serve as a mentor, you must:

• Have been in your position for at least 2 years.
• Commit to a mentee for 12 months upon being paired.
• Dedicate 7-12 hours over the course of 12 months.

• Pairings will be made on a rolling basis as new Mentee requests a Mentor.
